Close to home in De Ridder, LA. There is a gentleman and his wife who sell
exquiste day lilies. Once your there you can spend hours roaming the beautiful
grounds that they have worked for many years. They have a number of exotic
plants as well as plants native to the area, which adorn their property with
beautiful pottery which Mr. Copenhaver creates. There are also rustic benches,
tables and other artifacts placed carefully throughout their property. I
chose this scene because of the contrast between the dark tree trunks sandwiched
in between the light background and the bright green grasses and colorful
flowers.
